I have been lucky enough to work with Jessica on a number of photo shoots and I am forever prying her for make up tips!  This week I have teamed up with Jess as she takes over the blog to share her top 5 make-up must-haves.

Spring Picks for Make Up With Jessica Kell

After such along and dark winter, i’m so ready to enjoy the summer sun again. At this time of year I always like to make a few swaps in my make-ip bag, go for a lighter foundation and anything that radiates a sunlit glow, so here are the make up products I am loving right now.

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation

With Summer around the corner and the sub-zero degrees mornings behind us (fingers crossed) the first change up I always make in my make up bag, is my foundation. I like to have a fresh and glowy complexion for Spring (don’t we all!) and my go to has to be the Lumious Silk Foundation. It is a medium to lightweight finish that blends easily and instantly brightens, a perfect base for pretty blushes and a smattering of freckles.

Wonderglow Primer Charlotte Tilbury

If you are anything like me, then you are desperate to get out into the sun to bring a bit of bronze back into your complexion- drenched under the protection of a factor 50+ SPF of course. But if you are not quite bronze ready yet, Charlotte Tilbury’s Wonderglow Primer is a godsend. Used under foundation- or on its own- it matches your skin tone perfectly whilst adding a touch of bronze and shimmer. Just enough to bring some life and light to a dull winter complexion.

Caution Extreme Lash Mascara Hourglass

I love a feathered lash for spring, something about long doe eyed lashes that compliment freckles and blush perfectly. The Extreme Caution Mascara from Hourglass delivers longer and thicker lashes, but with a soft finish that always looks pretty and never too harsh.

Soap Brows by West Barn Co.

Have you ever wondered how make up artists manage to create those beautifully bushy brows on models? Well, for me at least, it’s with the help of Soap Brows from West Barm Co. a genius little tin of soap, which when dampened and applied to the brows gives them a little bit of omph and lift, holding them in place, then all you need to do is fill them in with a pencil and you have model perfect brows.

Lip Tint Kjaer Weis

shop here

I love a good multi task product, especially when the weather gets warmer and I want to do my make up in minutes before I’m out of the door. Kjaer Weis is an all round great brand that focuses on sustainable, refillable packaging and ethically sourced products, whilst delivering great formulas with a natural finish. I love my Lip Tint from them, encased in weighty magnetized packaging that feels as luxurious as it gets. I just dab a little on the lips and a little on the cheeks and I’m good to go.

Let me know if you try and love any of these, its great to know what you think!
