Love Is In The Air…

Love Is In The Air…

So it´s Valentines week and whether it be a friend, husband or lover it’s time to dress to impress. With that in mind I wanted to show you a couple of outfit ideas styled with the super chic jewellery brand of the minute; Soru Jewellery.

When it comes to accessories, I totally believe that jewellery has the power to transform any look. An outfit can go from simple and boring to polished and stylish by simply adding a pair of statement earrings or a chunky ring and detailed bracelet.

Soru is owned by two of my very dear friends; half Sicilian sisters Francesca and Marianna. Ethically designed, Soru is a demi fine fusion of statement and everyday jewellery designed with an essence of their Sicilian heritage at heart. Each piece is made using a mix of semi precious gemstones and precious metals.  With so many amazing styles to choose from there is something for every one and every occasion.  I seem to have a never-ending wish list on the go!

They have just launched their Heart Hoops in time for Valentines Day, including Ruby and Gold, Pearl and Silver and the special edition Rainbow collaboration with super blogger Laura Wills of The Fashion Bug Blog. These are a personal favorite of mine and a sure statement style to have heads turning your way!

Are you suffering from a severe case of Janxiety?

Are you suffering from a severe case of Janxiety?

Are you currently suffering from a severe case of Janxiety?

As we near the end of the month, I know the chitter chatter of New Year New You, gym memberships and veganuary are sounding like a worn out record …however I do TRULY believe it is the best month of the year to be having a wardrobe detox; in preparation for the year ahead.

January is pretty stale in the shops.  The new season hits are dribbling through, with no real presence and walking through Zara is comparable to a charity jumble sale.  So why not be prepared and get ready for Spring by clearing out some space… one in one out rule right!?

Its time to get rid of all those items that you haven’t worn in months, have a sort through the pile at the bottom of your wardrobe that grows on a daily basis and cull the 25 pairs of jeans; of which you could count on one hand the styles you ACTUALLY wear.

Our wardrobe is a pretty personal space and is actually very reflective of who we are as individuals. Having a closet clear out can seem like a very daunting task.  We all have our selection of items that you think you ‘might wear” or like to leave in there under the pretence of fitting back in them; or simply outfits that remind us of special times or special places.  It can often be overwhelming and hard to know what to do with everything and that’s before you start on the ‘what stays’ and ‘what goes’. It is most definitely easier said than done!

With that in mind I wanted to let you know about one of the services I offer through MORstyle.  I can assist you with exactly this…a wardrobe detox. To find out a bit more on how the process works; click here and hopefully we can stop your Janxiety in its tracks

Its been along time coming….

Its been along time coming….

Its been along time coming….

Some of you may have followed me previously on MorPlease.  Well after a two-year hiatus via Australia … I’m back!  Back with a styling blog, but actually this is more of a sideline to my new business, MORStyle Personal Style Consultancy.

It’s been on the cards for a while and anyone that knows me will know I’ve been talking about it for a rather a long time…eek!  Finally I feel like I am in the right place to get the ball rolling, so here we are… WELCOME to my new home MORstyle.

It’s definitely been a journey. For those of you that have stepped out on your own to follow a dream, you will know how daunting it can be!  I knew deep down I had the skill set to do it, but my main hurdle was confidence. So in September I bit the bullet and took myself off down to London to do a styling course.  It was a journey of self-discovery and I pretty much came back full of newfound confidence and ready and raring to go.

Fast forward to January and here I am with a shiny new website, a blog and handful of clients under my belt.  It feels good.

Click here to find out more about what MORstyle is all about and Id love to hear what you think below in the comments.
